I am a huge fan of the book trilogy so obviously I was extremely overwhelmed about the first movie. The Hunger Games was the first movie that I read the book before seeing the movie so it was pretty awesome watching it on the big screen. The director (Gary Ross) did a pretty good job trying to make sure the movie was as similar as possible to the book. There was one thing that Gary changed that I didn't like. He made the Cornucopia jet black even though they specifically identify the Cornucopia to be shiny and golden in the book. Other than that it was pretty well made. I guess there was a few little scenes cut out but the director only has around 2 hours to explain the whole book. I watched the behind-the-scenes of the movie and I was pleased to find out that they had Susanne Collins (the author of the trilogy) behind set making sure that they stayed connected to the book. I've watched this movie plenty of time and will certainly watch it more in the future. I am overly excited about the second movie Catching Fire that will be coming out November this year!

Of course I will rate the movie 10 / 10

I loved the hunger games too, and found the books way better than what the movies portraying. I wish it would be more in depth about the government because that is a main contribute in the storyline. Do you agree? I guess they did only have 2 hours.. but I definitely liked the books. Its kind-of cool to know that she made sure they stayed on topic and whatnot :P good opinion piece, and can't wait to see the new one (Y)

These are just my opinions on movies. Most likely everyone thinks differently and may agree or disagree with my thoughts. I'd be happy to read other point of views and opinions that you might have on  a movie I reviewed.

    Review Intro

I had trouble at first trying to decide what topic to base my blog on. And then I thought to myself; what do I spend a lot of my time doing? Answer: Watching movies! I love all sorts of movie genres, action, comedy, fantasy, but my favourite type of movie is horror. I enjoy the thrill and rush of a horror movie especially when something jumps out unexpectedly,  which is the part that most people strongly hate. But everyone is different!
After finishing a movie, I either liked it a lot or hated it. Most of the time I like the movies I watched but sometimes there are just some terrible movies.

So here is my critic/review on some of the movies that I have watched in the past!

I will rated each movie on a scale of 1 to 10
